DI-MARC

DI-MARC project has been initiated in line with the main priorities of the Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) Work Programme for 2022, by Institute of Economic Sciences and its partners in response to European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) program aiming to develop the mechanisms, based on scientific evidence, to build the digital marketing skills and competences of persons with physical disabilities (PWPD), which will help them to take a part in the remote work opportunities existing on various remote work platforms and offered by different businesses.

DI-MARC consortium represents a combination of expertise from the scientific domain, regional development, local governance and training with the aim to respond to the needs of PWPD in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro in a very innovative and accessible way.

Besides the scientific research institution, 3 categories of partners have been identified and invited to the consortium:

Project Overview

Project DI-MARC aims at building remote work competencies in the area of digital marketing for the PWPD in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro by providing empirical evidence on the level of their digital marketing skills and competencies and offering mechanisms for improving their employability in remote work platforms.

The project is directed towards upskilling and reskilling of PWDP in the area of digital marketing skills and competences using relevant competence frameworks (DigComp, EntreComp, EmDigital) as conceptual guidelines.

Empowering PWDP by improving their employability, and thus reducing the risk of poverty and minimising the digital divide and their distance to the labour market, fulfils the strategic priorities of the call and represents a confirmation of the relevance of this project proposal to the scope of the call.

DI-MARC specific objectives are:

1. To conduct an in-depth analysis of the platforms for remote work and their requirements in terms of digital marketing skills and competencies.

2. To develop the methodology for assessing the levels of digital marketing skills and competences of PWPD in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro.

3. To use the created methodology to assess the levels of digital marketing skills and competences of the PWPD in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro.

4. To identify the gap between the levels of digital marketing skills and competencies of PWPD and the requirements of remote work platforms.

5. To develop and deliver the training program for PWPD to build their digital marketing skills and competencies to help them overcome the identified gap in their knowledge (skills and competencies) and the requirements of the virtual labour market.

6. To evaluate the achievements of the PWPD in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro by assessing the levels of their digital marketing skills and competences after the training program.

7. To investigate the factors causing some PWPD to perform better than others after the training program.
